Levon finds high grade gold on Oil prospect

Vancouver-based Levon Resources says it has encountered high grade gold at its Love Oil joint venture property 100 miles north of Vancouver in the Bridge River Valley which adjoins the former Bralorne gold mine.

Levon says samples from recent surface trenching yielded an average grade of 2.30 oz gold per ton over a width of 9.4 ft. According to President Louis Wolfin, re-checked assays averaged 2.90 oz over a similar width.

Under the terms of a joint venture agreement, Levon and Coral Gold have an option to earn a 60% interest in the property held by Denver, Colo.-based Love Oil Co.

Between 1897 and 1970, the Bralorne and Pioneer mines produced over four million oz gold worth $1.8(US) million at today’s gold prices.

Approximately four miles further north, Levon Resources and Veronex Resources are developing the Congress property where recent gold discoveries have resulted in a large-scale underground exploration and development program.
