Drilling in 1987 returned encouraging results from a section of a shear zone which appears to extend entirely across the East Group gold property in Dubuisson Twp. near Val d’Or, Que., Minefinders Corp. of Toronto reports.

In 1986, 22 holes were drilled, representing 11,855 ft; gold values were encountered in every hole, the company says.
