A new zone of gold mineralization has been discovered 260 ft north of Zone 5, which trends east- west, on the Garrison property in the Matheson area of northern Ontario, Silverside Resources reports. A drill intersection cut 0.4 oz gold per ton over 5 ft, President Leith Hellens reports. Zone 5 contains drill-indicated reserves of 275,000 tons grading 0.175 oz, he says. Another drill hole, which tested the eastern extent of the zone, encountered 0.24 oz over 10 ft at a vertical depth of 600 ft. Hellens says the zone is open along strike and at depth. Two drilling machines are working at the site. Silverside holds a 65.63% interest in the property.
