It seems you were just a touch presumptuous in “promoting”our George Flumerfelt to the head of the class in our Mining Division, (N.M., Nov. 17/86). He’s a very capable guy but we still have Dick Ostrosser who is president of the Mining Division, and Gordon Montgomery, who remains executive vice-president and general manager.
We sent you the material on Mr Flumerfelt for your series on mine managers, but since as you say the series has ended, you ran the story on another news page.
