Peralto Resources says it has located three zones of intense silicification, with characteristics similar to known mineral bodies in the Toodoggone gold area, on the company’s holdings in the northern B.C. camp.
A report from consulting geologist Paul Sorbara says soil sampling has returned values to 4,200 ppb, uncovering a gold anomaly about 700 m in length and 50 to 100 m in width.
The consultant notes that mineralization in the Toodoggone is generally associated with zones of silicification that have anomalous precious and base metal geochemistry and are associated with fault structures.
Drill testing is planned during the 1987 exploration season for the Peralto properties, which encompass the Kevin, Bishop and Knight claim blocks.
