Trans Hex tests Villa Barroso

Despite the presence of a reasonable number of large, gem-quality stones, Trans Hex International (THI-V) says commercial grades were not achieved from the processing of gravel samples collected from the Villa Barroso target at the Barra Grande project in Brazil.

The company is now processing gravel samples from a trench at the nearby Queixada target.

In Botswana, the company started soil-sampling on its land package near its Ngamiland kimberlite project. On the Skeleton Coast of Namibia, no diamonds were recovered from a recent sampling expedition cut short by bad weather. Further sampling has been postponed until the weather improves.
