Playfair Mining assesses San Miguel

An ongoing soil survey at the San Miguel property in Mexico’s San Luis Potasi state is whetting the appetite of Playfair Mining (PLY-V).

All but one of the 103 samples taken to date exceeded 5,000 parts per million. Also, the best portion of the E1-South anomaly averaged 43.5 grams silver per tonne, whereas cuttings of lightly silicified black limestone from an old water well averaged 15.7 grams.

San Miguel lies 15 km southeast of the Charcas zinc mine of Grupo Mexico. Charcas is Mexico’s largest producer of zinc, cranking out 51,000 tonnes annually.
