DIAMOND PAGE — Rex finds Mauritania kimberlite

Junior Rex Diamond Mining (RXD-T) has found a kimberlite pipe on its Tenoumer diamond prospect in Mauritania, West Africa.

The pipe, covered by 1.5 metres of loose dune sand, was found in a circular aeromagnetic anomaly 300 metres in diameter. Diamond-content testing of the pipe and testing of its indicator mineral assemblage will begin shortly.

In the Touajil region, sampling turned up more diamonds, pyropes and garnets, while, at the Ouassat prospect, macrodiamonds and indicator minerals found.
