Chesbar hits more gold

Drilling and surface sampling have enabled Chesbar Resources (CBI-M) to confirm two new gold-bearing zones at its project in Venezuela’s Bolivar state.

Three follow up holes were collared on the northward (faulted) extension of the La Salle zone, whereas nine were collared on the Anacoco II zone.

Assay results from the La Salle zone included 43.5 metres (from 50 metres to 93.5 metres) grading 0.98 gram per tonne, including 10 metres (50-60 metres) grading 2.12 grams, 4 metres (11-15 metres) grading 0.86 gram and 13 metres (47-60 metres) grading 2.01 grams.

Highlights from the Anacoco drilling, 4 km to the north, include: 28 metres (58-86 metres) averaging 3.66 grams, 34 metres (22-56 metres) averaging 2.56 grams and 62 metres (0-62 metres) averaging 1.39 grams, including 9 metres (34-43 metres) averaging 6.41 grams.
