NEWS ROUNDUP — Dumont Nickel prepares to drill

Toronto-based junior Dumont Nickel (DNI-M) and privately held International Kirkland Minerals have started a 1,000-metre, 6-hole drilling program on their Foreurs property, 1 km south of Nuinsco Resources’ Lac Rocher prospect.

The work will target two induced-polarization anomalies identified by a recent geophysical survey.

Meanwhile in the Raglan camp of northern Quebec, Dumont will begin drilling in June as a follow-up to last summer’s $450,000 surface exploration program, which identified six geophysical anomalies.

In December, Dumont completed a $1.1-million equity financing deal at 50 cents per share and, more recently, signed a letter-of-intent with the Hunter Dickinson Group for a $2.6-million financing to explore its Lac Raglan property.
