PGEs found near Sudbury

Pacific Northwest Capital (PFN-A) continues to receive encouraging grades from its grassroots platinum and palladium project near Sudbury, Ont.

Channel samples from sulphide-bearing gabbro returned 23.6 grams per tonne combined platinum, palladium and gold over 2.8 metres and 5.2 grams of those combined metals over 2.63 metres. Both channels were cut immediately adjacent to a previous one that averaged 42 grams platinum-palladium-gold, 3.4% copper, 0.4% copper and 0.4% nickel over 0.53 metre. (Base metal results from the new samples are still pending.) Pacific Northwest owns or is earning interests in more than 8,000 ha in the Sudbury area. Current efforts are focused on Janes Twp., where platinum group element-bearing gabbro has been exposed intermittently over a strike length of 500 metres.
