Subject to regulatory approval, Troymin Resources (TYR-A) has optioned its St. Maurice nickel-cobalt prospect to Ormico Exploration (OMX-M).
Situated in the La Tuque area of central Quebec, the 16-claim property hosts Proterozoic, ultramafic intrusions cutting orthogneiss and sulphidic paragneiss. It covers known showings of massive sulphides with grades of up to 4.8% nickel and 0.18% cobalt. Line-cutting is under way in preparation for a ground geophysical program. Ormico must spend $650,000 on exploration and pay $5,000 to earn a 51% interest over three years.
