Nebex funds Albanian venture

Nebex Resources (NBX-T) will use the proceeds from a $1.9-million private placement to fund work at the Munelle polymetallic deposit in Albania.

Late last year, the company received government approval to explore the deposit, which contains copper, zinc, gold and silver values. Drilling is expected to augment the known resource base.

At last report, Munelle contained about 10 million tonnes grading 1.38% copper. Precious metals and zinc values have yet to be calculated.
