A work program by Blue Emerald Resources (BER-V) has outlined two new areas of gold mineralization on the Quebrada De Oro project in Nicaragua.
A trenching and detailed soil sampling program is under way to test the mineralized areas in order to define drill targets. The discoveries are near old adits, which continue to be found on the property.
The work program is testing another portion of the property where locals are recovering alluvial gold from an extensive creek system. In this area, work crews are focusing on detailed surface sampling and trenching that locals have identified as gold-bearing.
