Junior Canarc Resource (CCM-T) has intersected gold during an underground drill program at its New Polaris property in northwestern British Columbia.
Canarc’s best hole, 44, returned 112.2 ft. (from 819.8 to 932 ft.) grading 0.42 oz. gold per ton, including 44.1 ft. (from 883.6 to 927.9 ft.) of 0.68 oz. gold.
The hole was the first infill hole drilled in the C zone, which is about 650 ft. below sea level.
Other highlights include: 28.2 ft. (from 401.6 to 429.8 ft.) grading 0.14 oz.
gold in hole 32; 20.5 ft. (from 417.5 to 438 ft.) of 0.2 oz. gold in hole 35; 10 ft. (from 550.6 to 560.6 ft.) of 0.34 oz. gold (11.66 grams gold) in hole 39; and 18.4 ft. (from 529.1 to 547.5 ft.) of 0.24 oz. gold in hole 43.
The holes are part of an infill and stepout drill program which is targeting the fringes of a previously drilled resource area.
