GeoNova reports `best hole ever’

A recent hole drilled by GeoNova Explorations (GNE-M) intersected 7.5 metres grading 12 grams gold per tonne (0.35 oz. over 25 ft.) at a mineral project north of Lebel-sur-Quevillon, in northwestern Quebec.

The company says the intersection represents “the best hole ever” from the contiguous Desjardins and Borduas-Martel properties. The values were intersected while testing the eastern section of the Discovery gold zone, on the boundary between the properties.

The latest hole, 97-78, is some 50 metres west of hole 97-73, which intersected 9.7 metres of 6 grams gold (32 ft. of 0.175 oz.). Two drills are still active on the property. One is continuing infill drilling while the second is testing another portion of the Discovery zone, as well as its depth extension.

GeoNova holds a 100% interest in the properties which, at last report, contained 1.6 million tonnes of 5.1 grams gold (over a width of 5.4 metres), which includes 1.1 million tonnes of 6.3 grams over 3.6 metres.
