Diamond explorer Cypango Ventures (CAV-V) has dropped its option to earn a 51% interest in the Afridi Lake property in the Northwest Territories.
During a drilling program last spring, Cypango intersected a series of steeply dipping, northwest-Trending kimberlite dykes while testing a cluster of four closely spaced geophysical targets.
A composite 711.9-kg sample yielded 59 microdiamonds and 7 macros, weighing a total of 0.0114 carat.
Cypango could have earned its interest in the 129,951-Acre property from 90% owner Intertech Minerals (IML-V).
