Regal tests target near Kidd Creek

The prospect of discovering another copper-zinc deposit comparable to Kidd Creek continues to lure junior companies to Ontario’s Timmins camp.

One such company, Regal Goldfields (REGL-C), recently launched a 4-hole program to test a property situated 6,600 ft. west of the Kidd Creek mine, held by Falconbridge.

The drilling will test a conductor identified by recent, downhole pulse-electromagnetic surveys.

The conductor is within 70 ft. of a previous drill hole, which intersected copper sulphides.

The drilling is being directed by consulting firm Watts, Griffis & McOuat.
