Radisson Mining withdraws from Eastmain mine

Radisson Mining Resources (RDS-M) will not exercise its option on MSV Resources’ (MSV-M) Eastmain gold mine. Radisson could have earned a half interest by investing $8 million in reopening the mine, situated 300 km northeast of Chibougamau, Que.

Instead, Radisson will redirect its attention towards the O’Brien gold project, 50 km east of Rouyn-Noranda, Que. A new round of surface exploration drilling by Radisson will begin in January.

Radisson has the option of acquiring a 50% interest in the O’Brien project, which is owned by Breakwater Resources (BWR-T).
