THE GLOBAL SEARCH FOR GOLD SPECIAL — Verdstone, Stirrup drills Victorine

A program of reverse-circulation drilling is under way at the Victorine gold mine property, a past producer 18 miles southeast of Austin, Nev.

Joint-venture partners Stirrup Creek Gold (SGU-V) and Verdstone (VGC-V) are attempting to increase reserves by exploring new areas of the property.

At a cutoff grade of 0.029 oz. gold per ton, Victorine hosts proven and probable reserves of 793,327 tons grading 0.162 oz. gold per ton.

The current program will follow up a previously drilled hole in a new area, which averaged 0.323 oz. gold over 15 ft.
