Barrick Gold eyes Minorca’s Aiguebelle property in Quebec

While Indonesia’s gold potential is the main focus for Minorca Resources (MAR-T), the junior has signed a joint venture allowing Barrick Gold (ABX-T) to explore its Aiguebelle property in the Abitibi belt of northern Quebec.

The major will spend $3 million over four years to earn a 60% interest in Minorca’s Aiguebelle gold property.
