Four drill holes on the Holloway joint venture of Battle Mountain Canada (BMC-T) and Teddy Bear Valley Mines (TBV-T) have intersected gold mineralization both in the Lightning zone and 5-30 metres to the south, in the Middle zone.
Hole 96-19 intersected a 3.8-metre core length in the Middle zone grading 8.7 grams gold per tonne, and 96-22 cut a 6.8-metre interval grading 5.9 grams gold. Two other holes intersected mineralization grading just over 1 gram gold.
In the Lightning zone, the same four drill holes intersected gold mineralization with grades between 0.9 and 4 grams per tonne, over widths of 1-9.7 metres.
The intersection in 96-22, drilled in the western part of the Middle zone, suggests potential for more mineralization along strike to the west. The joint-venture partners plan three more deep drill holes to test an area to the west and downdip from the Middle zone.
