Magna begins Mexican drilling

A 40-hole drill program is under way on the contiguous Martinica and Aguila properties in Mexico’s Chihuahua state.

Consolidated Magna Ventures (CMV-V) intends to test at least eight different showings along a 7-km trend where previous sampling of surface workings returned copper grades ranging from 0.53% to 7.84%. Silver values ranged up to 39.4 grams per tonne.

The mineralization occurs in stacked, flat-lying beds, which vary in thickness up to 3 metres.

Magna can acquire a full interest in the 791-hectare Martinica property and a 90% interest in the adjoining 200-hectare Aguila property.
