Saskatchewan’s mines ministry goes on-line

The government of Saskatchewan has launched its web site on the internet.

The site, according to Energy and Mines Minister Eldon Lautermilch, is a response to frequent requests by the industry for digitized data.

Technical information, including lapsed claim lists, mineral rights information, the mineral deposit index base, royalty and tax information, regulations and publication lists, are offered at the site.

The address of the site is http://www.gov.sk.ca/enermine
