Drilling on the San Antonio property in Mexico’s Sonora state has boosted the geological resource to 5.4 million tons grading 0.075 oz. gold per ton.
Having drilled 36 holes on the Golfo de Oro deposit, Laminco Resources (TSE) reports that a high-grade core within the resource contains about 1.3 million tons grading 0.15 oz. gold.
The Golfo de Oro is one of several breccia bodies identified along the Realito trend. It is believed to exceed 2,000 ft. on strike, range from 350 to 1,000 ft. in width, and average 50 ft. in thickness.
Drilling is continuing, and the deposit remains open to expansion laterally and at depth.
Laminco has outlined anomalous areas on San Antonio’s western property block, and the company is working to define drill targets.
