Sphinx Mining (VSE) has announced that Placer Dome (TSE) has made a joint-venture offer on the Goldstack property, owned equally by Sphinx and Consolidated Goldstack International Resources (VSE). The property is part of the former Malartic Goldfields mine, which produced 1.7 million oz. gold between 1942 and 1965.
