Decimal trading set to start in April

Canadian stock exchanges will begin decimal trading on April 15, in a move designed to increase liquidity on the market. All five exchanges are making the change on the same date.

Shares priced above $3 will trade in increments of 5 cents, and those priced below $3 will continue to trade in increments of 1 cents.
