Electra advancing Aurora property

Prefeasibility work at the Aurora gold mine, 28 miles southwest of Hawthorne, Nev., is expected to wind down by the end of February.

Mine owner Electra Mining Consolidated (VSE) is working to outline additional reserves at both the eastern and western margins of the existing open pit with the objective of reopening the heap-leach operation.
