Mt. Nansen nears approval

Production permits are in hand for the Mt. Nansen gold-silver project in the central Yukon, reports BYG Natural Resources (TSE).

The Department of Indian Affairs & Northern Development has recommended that all permits necessary for production be issued, and the territorial Water Board has given notice that all environmental assessment requirements have been completed.

Production could begin as early as August.

In the meantime, BYG will carry out additional drilling on its four gold-silver deposits on the Mt. Nansen property. The deposits have a total mineral resource of 1 million tonnes grading 7.38 grams gold and 148 grams silver per tonne.
