Encouraging gold and silver values are contained in initial drill results from the Yurani project in Colombia.
Procoloro Resources (ME) reports that seven holes have been drilled, and that assay results are available from two of these.
Hole Y-01 intersected two mineralized zones, one of which featured grades of 15 grams gold and 10 grams silver per tonne over a length of 0.4 metre. The other zone, which is related to the known Main vein, featured 11.5 grams gold and 10.2 grams silver over 2.9 metres.
Hole Y-02 intersected the Main vein over a length of 0.9 metre, which graded 7.5 grams gold and 7.5 grams silver per tonne. Two zones were intersected in the footwall of the Main structure; the first graded 5 grams gold and 7.5 grams silver over 0.5 metre, while the second had similar grades over 0.4 metre. The company awaits results from other samples.
Procoloro continues to construct a surface plant at Yurani; the hoist and compressors have been installed and the headframe and bin have been erected.
