Junior International FreeGold Mineral Development (VSE) is poised to resume drilling on its Tolovana property near Fairbanks, Alaska.
Meanwhile, the latest results from the first round of drilling on the Dolphin prospect continue to indicate the presence of low-grade gold mineralization. Hole 95-7 intersected 210 ft. of altered granodiorite grading 0.032 oz. gold per ton from a depth of 5 to 215 ft., including an interval averaging 0.043 oz. over 130 ft.
Hole 95-7 was angled due north at minus 60! and drilled from the same collar as vertically-drilled hole 95-6. It was this latter hole that intersected the previously reported 25 ft. of 0.077 oz., 45 ft. of 0.031 oz., and 90 ft. of 0.063 oz. The collar of both holes is 200 ft. northwest of hole 95-4, which returned 335 ft. of 0.049 oz.
Soil sampling on claims adjacent to the Dolphin prospect was recently carried out in an attempt to assess the extent of the mineralization.
