Pan African Resources completes its work program in Ivory Coast

Pan African Resources, a subsidiary of Golden Star Resources (TSE), has performed a large part of the exploration work it had scheduled for its 15,000-sq.-km Comoe reconnaissance concession in Ivory Coast, West Africa.

To date, the company has finished 70,000 line-km of airborne magnetic and radiometric surveying, and a program of stream-sediment geochemistry. Geological mapping is still going on.

The company must convert its reconnaissance concession to exploration permits, covering no more than 3,750 sq. km by the end of November. Pan African Resources expects to have targets selected by that time and to have drills turning by December.
