MABC launches awareness campaign

The Mining Association of British Columbia will launch a “mining awareness” campaign.

The program will publicize important contributions that the mining industry makes to the provincial economy.

As part of the campaign, a questionnaire will be distributed to all candidates in the next provincial election to determine where they stand on mining issues. Their responses will be sent to each of the estimated 30,000 voters in the province whose incomes are derived, either totally or in part, from mining.
