Cadiscor drill results at Discovery project

Drilling was going so well at Cadiscor Resources (CAO-T) Discovery gold project near Lebel-sur-Quevillon in Quebecs Abitibi region, that a third drill was added in December to step up the program.

The best intersect reported today, was 5.4 metres grading 13.11 grams gold per tonne at a depth of 600 metres in the East zone of the property.

In response, Cadiscor shares were up more than 11% in Toronto today to 89 on a volume of 905,000.

Since October, Cadiscor has drilled more than 17,000 metres for a total of 29 holes. The company has received assay results for 24 so far.

Drilling will continue until the end of this quarter. Cadiscor will then do a new resource calculation and consider an on an underground exploration program. In 2006, indicated resources were 381,100 tonnes grading 6.73 grams gold per tonne with a cut off grade of 3 grams gold per tonne. Inferred resources were 847,200 tonnes grading 6.35 grams gold per tonne.

Other highlights from the East zone include:

• 1.15 metres grading 7.25 grams gold per tonne
• 1.40 grams gold over 5.8 grams
• 3.2 metres grading 5.57 grams
• 1.9 metres grading 8.87 grams

West zone highlights:

• 2.5 metres grading 5.05 grams gold per tonne
• 1.5 metres grading 25.5 grams
• 3 metres grading 8.21 grams

Cadiscor also discovered a new zone, Sector E, which had an intersect of 2.75 metres grading 10.94 grams gold per tonne.

The Discovery property is located a few kilometres from the Flordin mine, which produced 816,000 tonnes grading 5.1 grams gold per tonne between 1940 and 1998.
