Results keep PNWC bullish at River Valley

Vancouver — Harry Bar-led Pacific North West Capital (PFN-T) has tabled further encouraging drill results from its River Valley platinum group metal property, 60 km northeast of Sudbury, Ont.

The property is being explored as part of a 50-50 joint venture with Anglo American Platinum, which is bankrolling the current, $5.3-million program. PNWC is project manager.

To date, Anglo Platinum has spent more than $12 million to the project.

Eight holes were collared in the Dana Lake area and an additional six holes were drilled in the Lismer’s Ridge area. Drilling is currently suspended to allow time for assaying.

Highlights of recent results are as follows:

  • Hole DL-137 intersected 9.5 metres averaging 0.09 gram gold, 0.74 gram platinum and 2.2 grams palladium starting at a down-hole depth of 148 metres. This included a 2.5-metre section grading 0.25 gram gold, 1.99 grams platinum and 6.07 grams palladium starting at 152.5 metres down-hole.
  • Hole DL-145 cut 31 metres grading 0.05 gram gold, 0.25 gram platinum and 0.724 gram palladium starting at 20 metres down-hole. This included a 3-metre interval of 0.09 gram gold, 0.59 gram platinum and 1.9 grams palladium, as well as a 2-metre interval of 0.1 gram gold, 0.72 gram platinum and 2.27 grams palladium.
  • Hole DL-149 cut 7 metres averaging 0.08 gram gold, 0.6 gram platinum and 2.05 grams palladium starting at 189 metres down-hole. This included a 3-metre interval of 0.15 gram gold, 1.2 grams platinum and 4.3 grams palladium.
  • Hole LR-108 cut 27 metres grading 0.06 gram gold, 0.27 gram platinum and 0.79 gram palladium, starting at 269 metres down-hole. Included was a 1-metre interval of 0.09 gram gold, 0.86 gram platinum and 2.69 grams palladium.
  • Hole LR-117 cut 17 metres of 0.13 gram gold, 0.73 gram platinum and 2.24 grams palladium starting at 176 metres down-hole. This included a 6-metre interval of 0.17 gram gold, 1.09 gram platinum and 3.37 grams palladium, plus a 1-metre interval of 0.34 gram gold, 2.02 grams platinum and 6.18 grams palladium.
  • Hole LR-120 cut 62.5 metres averaging 0.04 gram gold, 0.26 gram platinum and 0.72 gram palladium starting at 206 metres down-hole. This included a 4-metre interval of 0.06 gram gold, 1.26 grams platinum and 3.46 grams palladium, as well as a 1-metre interval of 0.06 gram gold, 1.96 gram platinum and 5.5 grams palladium.
