IMA tables drill results from Las Bayas project

Vancouver — IMA Exploration (IMR-V) has completed its 19-hole drill campaign on its Las Bayas project in Patagonia, Argentina.

The company drilled 1,953 metres, in 19 holes which targeted six veins on the Eagle and Mincor Hills prospects. IMA states that 18 of the 19 holes cut low sulphidation quartz veins over intervals that ranged from 0.4 to 22.1 metres. The drilling tested 900 metres of the 15 km strike length of the veins exposed on the Las Bayas Hill. Highlights of the results are as follows;

• Hole LB-01 cut 5.1 metres averaging 0.96 gram gold and 36.9 grams silver per tonne. This included a 1.3-metre section that averaged 2.62 grams gold and 33.0 grams silver.
• Hole LB-05 cut 5.0 metres averaging 0.73 gram gold and 51.5 grams silver. This included a 2.0-metre section that averaged 1.48 grams gold and 101.9 grams silver.
• Hole LB-07 cut 1.02 grams gold over 0.7 metre.

IMA states that future work will be planned once these drill results have been fully evaluated. This next round of exploration will probably focus on the remainder of the 10 km-long Las Bayas mineralized trend.
