Dios misses the mark at Hotish

The two latest samples of kimberlitic material from the Hotish project, 100 km south of the Renard cluster in north-central Quebec, have failed to surrender any diamonds for Montreal-based Dios Exploration (DOS-V).

The samples comprised 148 kg collected from an outcropping kimberlitic body, which was located by tracing kimberlitic boulders. Another 20.51 kg of drill core material was derived from an area exhibiting a high number of kimberlite indicator minerals.

Meanwhile, till sampling on the property turned up several kimberlite indicator minerals, including some high chromium pyropes, some associated with diamond-intergrowth chromites and/or chromium picroilmenites.

Dios plans to drill test at least six targets defined by anomalous kimberlite indicator minerals.
