Wayside drilling at Wells Trend

International Wayside Gold Mines (IWA-V) has resumed active exploration at its Cariboo gold properties in north-central British Columbia, where discoveries in early 2000 excited the market.

The company is seeking replacement-style gold mineralization in limestone horizons of the Wells Trend, similar to those it found last year at the Bonanza Ledge prospect, 2.6 km to the southeast. The first hole at the Wells Trend (WT01-01) intersected the favorable horizon and is currently being sampled; a second hole is now being drilled.

Three holes are complete at Bonanza Ledge, and samples from two of them are currently at the laboratory. A fourth hole is being drilled and a fifth being spotted.

Wayside is putting a third drill on the property.
